At St Francis de Sales Catholic Infant and Nursery School, our faith is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by the life and example of Jesus, we seek to create a community where every child is known, valued and loved as a unique child of God.
Our mission, “We Walk, Learn, Love and Smile Together with Jesus,” guides our approach to both Religious Education and Catholic Life. Through our RE curriculum, prayer, worship, relationships, service and everyday experiences, we help children to know Jesus more clearly, love Him more dearly and live out their faith with joy.
Our Catholic Life is not something separate from school life—it is woven through everything we do. Children are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God, develop a sense of belonging, care for one another and our common home, and put their faith into action through kindness, compassion, forgiveness and service.
Through Religious Education, Prayer & Liturgy, Catholic Social Teaching, our school values and our wider Catholic community, we nurture children spiritually, morally and socially, helping them to become confident, compassionate and responsible members of God’s family.
