Dear Parents and Carers,

Following a further review of the weather forecast and the Amber Weather Warning that remains in place for tomorrow, I have taken the decision to keep the school closed.

I appreciate that this may cause inconvenience for families and I want to reassure you that this has not been an easy decision. However, given the forecast conditions, together with the young age and vulnerability of our children, I believe that keeping the school closed is the safest course of action.

The safety and wellbeing of our pupils, families and staff must remain our priority. I have continued to monitor the latest information and guidance available in reaching this decision.

To support children's learning, teachers will provide online learning activities through Seesaw tomorrow. Please log in to access the work and activities set for your child.

Thank you for your continued understanding, patience and support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday when the weather is forecast to have returned to normal and it is safe for us to reopen.
