Welcome

Dear Parents/Carers

Welcome to our Website, I hope you find it a useful guide to who we are as a school and a reflection of our core values.  It also aims to provide regular, updated information for both parents, children and the wider community.

Our school is a large, four form entry Catholic Infant and Nursery School situated in Walton, north Liverpool.  It is full of wonderful, happy children who love to learn. We are committed to providing the best possible start to a child's journey in education and preparing them for their next age and stage of learning; nurturing and developing their social and emotional wellbeing as well as enabling them to achieve to their fullest potential academically.

We promote an ethos in which each individual feels valued and respected and is encouraged to make a positive contribution to home, school and Parish community.

We invite all parents and carers to work alongside us and be a part of your child’s school life and a part of our school family.  We understand that, as a parent/carer, you play a vital role in your child’s education, and your involvement and support is key. During the school year there will be opportunities for you to visit the school, discuss your child’s progress, join in activities and if you wish to, offer your help and skills which is always most appreciated.

As a school, we believe high attendance and punctuality is also crucial, and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that every child, every day attends school if they are well.  We offer support, and challenge where needed, to raise attendance as there is a direct correlation between low attendance and low attainment.

If you would like to discuss any details given on the website in more detail, or require a hard copy of any of our documents, please contact our school office and we will be delighted to help.

 Kind regards

 Mrs Melia
