St Francis De Sales Catholic Infant And Nursery School

We walk, learn, love and smile together with Jesus

Welcome To St Francis de Sales Catholic Infant and Nursery School

We are very pleased to welcome you and your child to our Infant school. We hope that you will find this website interesting and informative and that it will give you some insight into life at our School.

Our Infant School is an exciting place to be, full of outstanding children, enthusiastic, dedicated staff and lots of wonderful surprises!

We believe that Every Child Matters and learning at our school is fun and exciting, challenging and rewarding. We offer a warm and caring environment which enables children to feel safe and secure as they grow, learn and develop. The foundation of our success is happy children working hard in surroundings where they are valued and value others.

The first years in school are the most important and can shape children's attitudes to learning and school long after they leave us. We hope by the time the children leave our Infant School they will have developed a good sense of self worth and a stimulated mind, so that they are happy and motivated as they continue on their journey through education.

If you have any questions about our school after you have enjoyed the website then do not hesitate to get in touch and come and meet us!

We are extremely proud of our Infant School and are always pleased to show prospective children and parents around so that you can see our school first hand. We hope to have the pleasure of meeting you and your child soon.

St Francis de Sales is a one-floor wheelchair friendly school with all areas being accessible for people with physical disabilities.

If you would like a paper copy of any of the content of this website, please ask at the school office and Mrs Bell, Mrs Hughes or Mrs McCann will be happy to assist you.

World Down Syndrome Day21Mar2019

The school is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day and would love it if all the children could get involved. All you need to do is wear a pair of mismatched colourful socks. It’s a way to celebrate all of our differences whether it be disability, race or religion. Last year the children’s mixed socks were amazing and we would love to have the same enthusiasm this year. Search #LOTSOFSOCKS for more information.
